Generally speaking, you’ll see a rise in large totes, cargo pocket details, stripes, and florals.
Think saturated colors with specific nods to cobalt, black - and Viva Magenta, of course! Bomber jackets, shackets, cropped jackets, and blazers will still be in the mix as will oversized sunnies in a variety of shapes.
How will you decide what to make room for in your closet?

She said, “YES” to the Dress
in Only, Wait for It,
25 minutes!

Help us celebrate this elegant, feminine, sporty, and approachable mother of the groom!
She reached out in April for her son’s upcoming wedding after having tried to find the outfit on her own.
Only problem?
It was producing a lot of stress as time was ticking away and online shopping was leading to so many dead ends.
Having worked with me before on a couple of occasions she reached out and wanted to shop with me in Arizona – last minute-ish.
(I learned years ago, that last-minute special occasion shopping doesn’t offer a foundation for clients’ shopping success, so I really needed to vet this situation.)
She was prepared and that’s key when shooting for success in any category. She was eager to find the perfect outfit -and she trusted the process. And she was ready to move swiftly -and pivot if needed.
Having had her color and general style preferences nailed down, I spent only two hours online shopping across the nation so she could order in “possibilities” based off our brief, but focused collaboration and my suggested links. I believe I was able to hit 13 stores.
Enter Arizona.
Only a few dresses had come in by the time she jetted over to meet me, but we met at the mall anyway. While she tried one on, I did a quick sweep of the floor, brought back a handful of options, and BINGO!
We found the perfect dress in just twenty-five minutes!
Better yet?
We came in WAY under budget!
We now had time to pull her other outfits together as she had brought dresses for the bridal shower and rehearsal event to accessorize – just in case we had time.
At the end of it all, in just 2 hours we:
- Selected the mother of the groom's dress.
- Found all the coordinating accessories - shoes, earrings, and wrist candy to pull together this exquisite made-for-her look.
- Curated elegant wraps and accessories for both the bridal shower and rehearsal events.
While “shopping magic” doesn’t always happen this way, it sure did for us that night!
“What a feeling of relief!”, she said.
She had wondered if she was going to have experienced a missed opportunity for her son’s wedding, but alas… that just wasn’t the case.
Moral of the story?
Prepare, show up, and trust the process.
While I can’t manufacture what is not available, I’ll sure go the distance and cross the finish line to efficiently pull together your vision so you can feel not only relieved, but excited about how you look and feel!
